The Chapel
Salmestone Chapel is a unique and intimate setting for your special occasion, whether a Marriage, Blessing, Renewal of Vows or a Baptism ceremony. This beautiful 14th century chapel, set in picturesque gardens, is just the perfect place for your family and friends to celebrate new beginnings. Regular services take place at the Chapel every Sunday and on other religious anniversaries.
The Marriage Ceremony
Salmestone Grange Chapel is one of the most popular wedding venues in Kent, conducting more than 70 marriage services a year.
A non-denominational, traditional, Christian service is available to all couples and a copy of the ceremony is provided on request. Couples who have been married before are welcome to hold their marriage ceremony at Salmestone Chapel.
Live and recorded music may be played in the chapel. An organist is available, if required, for an extra fee.
Once a marriage has been booked with Salmestone Grange, couples will be required to contact their local register office to register their intent of marriage. Contact 08458 247400 for further advice.
Blessings and Renewal of Vows
What could be more romantic than renewing your vows, or blessing your civil marriage in a
beautiful 14th century chapel, steeped in medieval history?
Our chaplains are happy to discuss your individual requirements for this special occasion.
Baptisms
The unique setting of Salmestone Grange Chapel makes it the ideal venue for your child's Baptism Ceremony. Our chaplain will be happy to advise you on the requirements for a baptism - please contact Salmestone Grange for further information.
Memorial Services
Salmestone Grange Chapel is also available for Memorial Services. The tranquillity and peace found inside the stone walls of the chapel make it the perfect place to hold a ceremony of remembrance to loved ones. Chaplain's services can be arranged, if required.
